We proudly present a few of our favorite recipe uses of world famous Claxton Fruit Cake.

1 Lb. Claxton Fruit Cake
1 Box Spice Cake Mix
Two Eggs
1/2 Cup Oil

Place cake mix, eggs and oil in a mixing bowl. Cream well. Add fruit cake in broken pieces to the mixture. Hand mix. Form into balls and place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for twelve minutes. Do not overbake. Decorate with pecan halves, cherries, or a sugar glaze. Sugar glaze is easily made from one cup of sugar, one teaspoon of vanilla and one tablespoon of water. Mix thoroughly and drizzle over cookies while hot.

1/2 Lb. Claxton Fruit Cake
1 Box White Cake Mix
3 Eggs
2 Tablespoons Oil
1 Cup Water

Mix cake mix, eggs, oil and water in a mixing bowl. Add fruit cake pieces and hand mix. place in a 9" x 13" greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for thirty minutes or until done. Glaze while hot. Crated nuts can be added. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Also can be served with whipped cream and a long-stem cherry (as shown in photo).

1/2 Lb. Claxton Fruit Cake
Box Yellow Cake Mix
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Oil
1/2 Teaspoon Rum Flavoring

Cream cake mix, eggs, oil and rum flavoring until smooth. Stir in fruit cake pieces. Form balls and place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for twelve minutes. Decorate with cherries or nuts. A cream cheese icing can also be added. Cream cheese icing is made from eight ounces of cream cheese, one stick of butter, one box of powered sugar and one tablespoon of vanilla or rum flavoring. Cream until smooth and spread onto cooled cookies.
